Mrs. Anna Wood, 77, a retired employee of RR Donnelley & Sons died at 8 p.m. Thursday in her home at 714 S. Green St. Mrs. Wood was a member of Smartsburg Christian Church and its Ladies Aid.She was born June 21, 1900 in Oklahoma a daughter of John and Mary Black. She married Elmer C. Wood May 20, 1919, at Chillocothe, Texas. He died May 5, 1971. Surviving are two sons, Guy and Bob, both of Crawfordsville; four daughters, Mrs. Emma Wilhite of Anderson and Mrs. Mary Surber, Mrs. Lory Hartung and Mrs. Betty Birch all of Crawfordsville; two brothers, James and Jewell Black of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Lena Moody of Crawfordsville; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Wachenschwanz officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
